Daniel Cotter, MD

Daniel M. Cotter, MD, is a native of Buffalo NY. A graduate of the University of Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999, he attended the University at Buffalo’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and earned a Doctorate of Medicine in 2003. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo in 2004 and completed a residency program in Ophthalmology in 2007 at the University at Buffalo Medical Consortium where he worked at the Erie County Medical Center Hospital, Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, and the Veterans Administration Hospital of Buffalo. His specialties include cataract surgery and the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. Dr. Cotter is licensed to practice medicine and surgery in the states of California and New York. He recently contributed to medical missionary work in Ixtapan de la Sal, Mexico with Medical Ministries International. He is member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and he is eligible for board certification through the American Board of Ophthalmology.
